Therapy for navigating life's challenges, processing what you’ve carried, and reconnecting with your resilience.

I'm Shannon, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Napa, CA. Much of what I bring to therapy extends beyond my clinical training. My experiences as a former Deputy Sheriff, a mother and stepmother, and a lifelong athlete have given me a deep appreciation for resilience, identity, and the challenge of balancing life's many demands.

I offer a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach where you’ll feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and supported as you work toward meaningful change. I'm also trained in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and heal from trauma and other distressing experiences.

While I work with adults from many backgrounds, I have a particular passion for supporting those navigating roles and life transitions that can feel both deeply meaningful and incredibly demanding.

First responders and their loved ones — The work you do carries weight that doesn't always stay at the job. I provide a confidential space to process the cumulative toll, manage stress and trauma, and reconnect with the people who matter most. I also work with the partners, parents, and family members who carry the job alongside you.

Mothers and motherhood — From the journey to parenthood and pregnancy to postpartum, blended family dynamics, and the changing identities of each parenting stage, motherhood can be both profound and isolating. I help mothers care for their own well-being, work through anxiety, guilt, and overwhelm, and navigate this season with greater confidence and self-compassion.

Current and former athletes — Whether you're competing, recovering from injury, or navigating life after sport, the transitions athletes face are uniquely challenging. I support athletes through performance pressure, identity shifts, and the search for meaning beyond sport.

I provide individual therapy for adults, with in-person sessions in downtown Napa and telehealth across California.
